Metro Detroit is remembering the contributions of the past women who began our journey and honoring those who continue paving the way forward with art exhibits, tours, trivia, and much more this March. Experience the feminine forces driving Detroit to a greater future and celebrate Women鈥檚 History Month at these local events.

Women鈥檚 History Month Educational Series

The Detroit Foundation Hotel and Copper House Detroit have teamed up to host a series of four events that highlight wellness, women鈥檚 history, entrepreneurship, gentrification, and Black fatherhood. On March 7, explore 鈥淲omen鈥檚 Health and Cannabis鈥 use. Marshall M. Fredricks Sculpture Museum

Join the Marshall M. Fredricks Sculpture Museum at Saginaw Valley State University for a month of events in the spirit of Women鈥檚 History Month. Specialty tours are led by museum staff and based on the women represented in Marshall Fredericks and Richmond Barth茅鈥檚 art. This is an hour-long tour with room for a Q&A. March 1, 8, and 15. Trivia Thursday: Women鈥檚 History Month

Bring up to four friends or be your own team during Women鈥檚 History-themed trivia. Organized by the Detroit Public Library, this trivia night will be sure to challenge your knowledge of women who make history, past and present, women鈥檚 rights, and girl power. This celebration offers a decorated agenda for the day-long event. I鈥檓 Every Woman empowers all attendees with inspiring talks, workshops, network opportunities, and more. EntrepreneuHERs Brunch

Black Leaders Detroit is celebrating Women鈥檚 History Month with its first annual networking brunch and pitch competition. The event will serve as a launchpad for 鈥淲omen for BLD,鈥 a platform designed to amplify women鈥檚 voices and share power. 2024 Women鈥檚 History Mystery Tour

Magical Michigan Tours is hosting a tour of Detroit highlighting important women in history. The tour will begin at Eastern Market and make stops at a number of women-owned businesses and places that have amazing history. In addition to the interactive history lesson, this tour will take a luxury motorcoach between stops and visit a woman-owned restaurant in the city for lunch. All Female Mic Check: Women鈥檚 History Month Comedy Show

In honor of Women鈥檚 History Month, this all-female comedy show offers a night full of laughs and entertainment.
