Glenlore Trails Illuminates the Night with New Experience

The one-mile trail opens its doors for its fifth annual Halloween experience, ‘Enchanted,’ this Friday.

What started off as a creative idea during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown has since grown into a popular fall destination for those around the Commerce Township area. Glenlore Trails offers its guests a creepy fun outing through its one-mile trail during the fall season and transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland for the holidays.

While a theme has not yet been announced for the holiday season, Glenlore Trails lights up the night once again this Friday for its fifth annual immersive fall trail with a new theme: “Enchanted.”

Starting at dusk each evening, “Enchanted” will guide guests through a spellbound forest filled with fairies, wraiths, and the witch of the woods, alongside dazzling lights, sounds, interactive games, live dance, music, and theatrical performances, and sensory installations powered by .

Guests can pair the fall ambience with delicious food provided by the taco truck on site or warm beverages and adult beverages for sale.

Glenlore Trails’ “Enchanted” will run Thursday-Sunday evenings, beginning Friday, Sep. 20, through Sunday Nov. 3, excluding Halloween. Be sure to keep an eye out for special themed nights throughout the season as well, as some nights are adults-only.

Here are some of the special events and activations to know about:

Opening Weekend Activations:

  • Sept. 20-21: Live music, 8-10:15 p.m.
  • Sept. 22: Face Painting & Balloon Twister, 8-10:15 p.m.

Activations Beyond Opening Weekend:

  • Sept. 29: Kids Craft Event with Balloon Twister & Face Painting
  • Oct. 4: Adult Night – Ages 21+ Only, Live Music
  • Oct. 20: Kids Craft Event with Balloon Twister & Face Painting
  • Oct. 25: Adult Night – Ages 21+ Only, Live Music
  • Oct. 27: Trick-or-Treating

Ticket prices are $25 for general admission, $20 for guests ages 65+, $15 for children ages 4-12, and free for children 3 and under. Tickets for groups larger than five start at $18. The trail takes approximately one hour to complete.
