Primark Opens at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets

International fashion retailer opened its first Michigan location at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets last week, bringing a new shopping experience to metro Detroit residents. The brand-new Auburn Hills store will mark its 27th in the U.S. across 11 states.

The Michigan store鈥檚 opening is just in time for the launch of the Rita Ora听x Primark Autumn collection, which premiered on Sept. 10. The new line features 60 pieces and is the latest installment in the brand鈥檚 ongoing partnership with the UK popstar. Additional brand collaborations include Hello Kitty, Disney and various sportswear lines, such as the NBA Detroit Pistons or NFL Detroit Lions collection.

Founded in Dublin, the Primark has steadily built a reputation for affordable clothing 鈥 and says it鈥檚 aiming to become more sustainable. By 2030, Primark the brand to have all its clothes made from recycled or 鈥渕ore sustainably sourced鈥 materials, dividing its carbon emissions in half, and 鈥減ursuing a livable wage鈥 for workers in it supply chain, according to the organization鈥檚 website.

The new Michigan store features a wide range of items, including women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 apparel, beauty products, accessories, sleepwear and lingerie, home d茅cor, children鈥檚 items, and travel essentials. With fall and winter on the horizon, the Auburn Hills location is now brimming with cozy knitwear, stylish coats, warm scarves, hats, and gloves 鈥 all at budget-friendly prices. Sweatshirts start at $14 and hoodies from $16.
