The Skip is a chameleon of sorts 鈥 continually shedding old iterations of itself in favor of ones closer to its true spirit. 鈥淲e finally look how we鈥檝e always felt,鈥 says The Skip鈥檚 bar manager, Kyle Marks, of its most recent renovation, which completed in April courtesy of Detroit-based firm Mother of Pearl & Flower Design.
The new space has moody floral wallpaper, dim neon lights, and lipstick kisses planted across the bar鈥檚 coral walls. 鈥淥ur final day of remodel we invited the whole crew to take part in our little kissing booth party. Our guests have been adding more every day.鈥 The adorable bar will inspire you to leave your mark, too.
