There aren鈥檛 many dining spots in the city with a fireplace 鈥 let alone one built with stones听imported from every county in Ireland. That more than makes up for the fact that it doesn鈥檛 actually work 鈥 yet.
At Lady of the House, everything from the reclaimed wood tables to the heirloom plates to the bar stools salvaged from an old Detroit casino has been curated by Executive Chef Kate Williams to make diners feel like guests at an intimate dinner party in her home. 鈥淚t should feel cozy, comfortable, and kissed by candlelight,鈥 she says.
