Batch Brewing Company has acquired the former Chaps Automotive building at 2841 East Grand Boulevard in Detroit鈥檚 Milwaukee Junction/North End area.
Initially slated to be the brewery鈥檚 packaging and distribution center, the facility will serve as the company鈥檚 sour beer and wild fermented cider programs鈥 鈥樷滷unk Room.鈥
Long-term plans for the space include adding a second taproom to serve area residents and office workers. Space will eventually be available for event rentals and community gatherings.
