On March 28, Alternatives for Girls held its annual Role Model Dinner at Cobo Center in Detroit. Guests enjoyed live and silent auctions, a plated dinner, and an awards program. The 2018 event honored this year’s Role Models, including Alicia Boler Davis, Deborah LaBelle, and Monica L. Martinez. Proceeds from the dinner benefited the AFG programs, which provide resources, shelter, and support to at-risk and homeless girls.
