On June 7, the Father’s Day Council presented the 2016 Father of the Year Awards at Cobo Center. Men who continue to prioritize their families while balancing demanding careers and actively contributing to their community were honored. Proceeds of the event benefitted the American Diabetes Association as the Father’s Day Council worked to spotlight the importance of fatherhood.
