Wayne State University appoints first woman president

The Detroit university鈥檚 board of governors听. Espy, who currently serves as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs with the University of Texas at San Antonio, is the first woman to hold the position and will officially take over the role on Aug. 1.

El Ni帽o has officially begun

It will also see the addition of new bollards, trees, planters, and street furniture. The budget is awaiting Gov. Whitmer鈥檚 approval.
