Be our guest for an exclusive meet and greet with Sheetal Bhagat, founder and owner of Spice Note Tequila Co. Sheetal will share her career journey, including her time on MasterChef season 1, what inspired her to create the first line of all-natural spiced-infused tequila, and the state of women in the industry today.
This event will also feature expert insights in women鈥檚 health from representatives with the Karmanos Cancer Institute: Dr. Hadeel Assad, a hematologist/oncologist and assistant professor in the oncology department at Wayne State University and the Karmanos Cancer Institute, with an expertise in the oncologic management of breast cancer; and Linda Filipczak, RN, BSN, MBA, philanthropy officer for Karmanos Cancer Institute.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Daxton Hotel鈥檚 flagship restaurant Madam and Geode Bar & Lounge are serving The Charlotte cocktail, crafted specially by an in-house bartender to honor a family member lost to cancer. The Charlotte features Spice Note Tequila Cinnamon, which has subtle notes of sweet cinnamon and rich agave. All month long, $1 from each sale of The Charlotte and other specialty cocktails will be donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
