Blake Farms is expanding its beverage offerings with the launch of its cold-pressed juice line. The juices come in four apple-forward flavors: Strawberry Apple, Tropical (orange, pineapple, mango, and apple), Peach Apple, and Cherry Apple.

鈥淲e鈥檝e been known for our sweet cider as our signature product for decades and developing Blake鈥檚 Cold-Pressed Juices was just a logical evolution of our 75-year apple-growing heritage,鈥 says Andrew Blake, president, Blake鈥檚 Family of Companies, in a press release. 鈥淭his is an investment we see going beyond producing healthy cold-pressed juices, and we see more opportunities in non-alcoholic beverage offerings in the near future.鈥

The juices are 100 percent natural with no added sugar or preservatives and are produced at Blake鈥檚 farm in Armada. According to Blake鈥檚 cider maker Troy Deneen, they鈥檙e made with a premium apple cider base and there are almost 10 apples in each bottle. He says that Blake鈥檚 also sources local ingredients for its juices, such as cherries from northern Michigan鈥檚 Montmorency County.

Those interested in purchasing Blake鈥檚 Cold-Pressed Juices can currently find the product at Blake鈥檚 Orchard & Cider Mill in Armada, Blake鈥檚 Big Apple in Armada, and Blake鈥檚 Backyard in Almont. The juice will be available at select specialty grocery stores and independent retailers in Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, and St. Claire Counties starting June 10. Blake鈥檚 will also be sharing free samples of the juice at Eastern Market throughout the summer.
